OK, I'm running 8.6 on my G3 upgraded PB 1400. Trying to get a newly acquired (albeit used) WaveLAN card running without success.
Orinoco drivers will not install, and their readme file says that there is a known incompatibility w/ the 1400 that they are "working" on. Tried Airport drivers per some instructions found on the web, but they will not load properly. Has anyone done this successfully? I expect that a sys 9 upgrade will solve the problem (can then use AP software), but I want to avoid spending more $ (of course). Any help is greatly appreciated!
