Does any one know if you can use (or has anyone successfully used) a Panasonic
KXL-D740 4x SCSI external CDROM with a 5300 series (or other SCSI) Powerbook?

What CD-ROM driver version do I need (Panasonic does not have drivers for the Mac)?

Can the 5300 use the PCMICIA connection, or does it have to use the SCSI port?

Is it hard to obtain a cable that will interface between the CD-ROM's half-pitch
50-pin connector with a Centronics or 25 pin D connector?

Thanks in adavnce!

Regards,
