I recently bought my first Duo, a 280 with the
greyscale screen. (I got a great deal on eBay.) I'm
really pleased with the size of the 280; it's a lot
smaller than my 1400. I have also ben pleasantly
surprised at how usable the small screen is for word
processing and simple spreadsheets.

My only really big grip, however, is with the
keyboard. It is just AWFUL! All of the keys work, but
most of them are really stiff. In particular, the
modifier keys (shift, ctrl, command, etc.) are really
temperamental. If I don't hit them just right, they
don't register. Is this normal behavior for the Duo
series? Or is the keyboard in need of a little
maintenance? Also, is the keyboard design of the
2300cthe same as the rest of the Duo line, or was it's
design improved.

I saw a webpage describing how to clean your duo
keyboard; I figured that I'd give it a try this
weekend.

Thanks in advance for any input. I am guessing that
part of the problem is that I have been spoiled by the
awesome keyboard on my PB 1400. Maybe it's time to
start saving for a 2400c...
