Why'd you stop, you were almost there! ;-) I don't believe you need to remove any lower case parts... The bezel for the LCD plastic should slide from where it meets the lower housing without doing anything on the bottom end if your careful... All that was left was removing the plastic bezel around the screen. Be very careful doing that... there are small clips all around the screen that hold the bezel in place. They are easy to break, and, if you break one, the bezel won't seat properly anymore... I usually start at the bottom center of the screen. I work my index finger in between the screen and the case plastic, then placing my thumb on the outside of the plastic, rock wy thumb in and down while pulling out carefully with my index finger, this usually starts the process of popping the clips, then you can continue around the bezel, working from the inside of the screen until they are all off. Once this is done, it should be easy to look at the catch and see what is broken / needs replacing... Maybe your lucky and nothings broken - it just needs to be reseted... But chances are, you'll need a new plastic catch... Cheers, Sionnach __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
