Hey all My 1400cs just bit the dust. I think it might be the ac adapter, but I wanted to get some second opinions. It won't do anything when I push the power button. It clicks when I push the reset button, and clicks again when I release it. Every third time or so that I push the reset button, it chimes like it's going to start, but then goes dead again when I release the button. Every time I push the reset button, the screen flashes. It does this whether the ac adapter is plugged in or not. The book is completely dead plugged in but with the battery out. Just before it died I noticed it was running on the battery even though it was plugged in, which is what makes me think it's the adapter, and the battery has just run down and doesn't have the juice to start the computer. Think that's what it is? Or is there something else I'm not considering? I've tried wiggling all the plugs looking for a short but everything is solid. I can feel something moving inside the adapter when I shake it gently. Thanks for any insight in advance.
