I picked up an Apple Presentation System. (complete, new and still in the plastic wrap) I plan to use it with my PB 1400/G3-217/60Meg RAM, OS 9.1 to link my Newertech Viewpowr 1400/16 video card to a big screen TV via the video input on a VCR. (VCR on and set correctly. TV set to VCR default channel, etc.)
Everything appears to work properly, correct cables, green light on the "Focus" box, Monitors Control Panel shows 2 monitors, but no signal shows on the TV. The docs say tht it needs a VGA output, (the video card does that) , but it says screen resolution of 640x480. (My PB 1400 only offers 800 x 600, but when I tested the video card with an external monitor, It allowed me to set a screen resolution on the external monitor to 640 x 480, but with video mirroring "ON" the external monitor matched the 800 x 600 of the PB's built in resolution.) Apple's site was of no help. It just mirrored the docs that were included with the Presentation kit. Any help will be appreciated.
