Hi. I'm a college student with an IBM PC for primary work, but I
picked up a lonely little PowerBook 140 at the Salvation Army (where I
work) for $15. Everything works fine, except - it doesn't have a battery,
and can only be used on AC.
Seeing as I don't handwrite due to a disability, and I didn't want
to take the /real/ laptop on the bus, I figured a bus-durable second
laptop that did word processing perfectly (even if it couldn't, in
comparison, do much more) would be good to have.
However, it needs a battery to fulfill that purpose, as well as a
battery charger. Is under $10 for both on E-Bay a fair price for both? I'm
working without a net here - I was 9 when this machine came out, so I've
no idea with regard to prices.
        Thanks in advance. :)
