Hello, I picked up an IBM 1.2 gb (DPRS-21215) scsi disk to upgrade from the 320mb disk in my 540c. I got the drive installed just fine, formated and have 8.1 and all of my various bits of software installed. However, when I go to startup without anything on the external scsci bus, I get the question mark floppy rather than a happy mac. When I have my other items (an external hard disk, Apple CD-150, and a Zip drive) connected, everything is happy.
This would seem to be a termination issue, but I can't see where I should need to do anything. If I understand the repair manual and the technote correctly, there shouldn't be a problem. Anyone have any hints, tips, suggestions? I'm on digest mode, so CC's are appreciated. Thanks, William -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
