I have asked this question before, and gotten some help. However I need more. I have a G3 Pismo with a bum power cord. The plastic over the cable has a defect, and the wire is slightly exposed, causing it to spark when plugged in to the wall. One kind PB lister suggested just cutting the wire, and re-solding it. The problem is that the defect is right at the end of the plug that connects to the computer. There would be nothing sticking out of the back of the plus to which to solder. Another kind PB lister suggested a new power supply...$89.00 for a refurbished one! I think I'll keep trying to fix what I've got. What I think I need is a new plug that would go into the back of the computer. Then I could cut off the old plug, and solder the new to the old. I'm dead in the water without this machine. Any ideas or direction would be a big help. Tks. Dave
