Ok, so I was bored and did some surfing for info on 5300s.  (Yeah, I'm 
on a roll, I know!)

ml> has an "article" about a 5300 configured w/ a PowerLogix 
PowerBoost CPU upgrade.  They don't mention much (just some clock 
speeds and integer and fpu performace specs).  But I'm guessing it was 
a 603e based card that went in the PDS.  They say it was a prototype - 
seems to have never gone into production.  A quick Google search 
didn't find any info about it.

Anyone ever seen or heard of these things?  I always thought that 5300 
processor upgrades were in the realm of "nice idea, neeeeeever gonna 
happen."  Looks like it almost did, though.
