Mad Dog & Victoria, Yeah, that's what I thought. But I have this nagging in the back of my mind - I think I read somewhere (couldn't find it just now though) that the passive matrix display on the 5300 can only do some 4000 colors... I don't think it's a problem w/ the video controller...
What do you think would happen if I upgraded the VRAM and tried using the display at thousands of colors if it doesn't really support that number of colors? Ok, anyone out there got a FrankenBook 5300cs w/ 1MB VRAM but the CS display? Something put together from spare parts maybe?
