Several things may fix it. Sometimes all it takes is a restart, but at the 
very least I'd turn off AppleTalk since the StyleWriters can't use it. 
AppleTalk is currently the "application" hijacking your printer port and 
thus forcing itself onto the printer.

There are also a few utilities that can reset the ports, allowing a 
recalcitrant AppleTalk to stay active (but on another port of course). 
Someone else will know what they are in the time it'll take for me to find 
them...

In the meantime you might also try trashing your AppleTalk and/or 
Appleshare prefs and restarting. But if you do that turn off AppleTalk 
before Choosing the printer again.
