On my PB 1400, with OS 8.1, I use a RAM disk for Web browser caching and I noticed that in the Memory control panel I can check a box to have the contents of the RAM disk saved on shutdown.
We're running OS 8.6 on my wife's Mac and the Memory control panel on it doesn't allow that RAM disk save option. Seems like a nice feature. Anyone know why it was left out of OS 8.6?
