I findthe interface enhancements in 7.5.5 make up for the fact that the 68k CPUs run a bit slower using it instead of 7.1.3. I put it on pb100 and SE/30's. YMMV. I suggest backing up the HD via appletalk to a desktop mac (system and all), install 7.5.5, and if you don't like the higher OS version, just copy the old OS back, rebless the system folder, and you're good to go. Since the 1xx series usually have 500meg or 1 gig drives it really doesn't take that long to back up the whole thing to a desktop CPU even over the printer cable connection.
