James, it would be my guess that the Power Manager simply came loose from
its plugin.  Having taken my 5300cs apart a few times now, clearly the PM
can be a viable culprit.  Not a very stable assembly.  Definitely check this
before buying a replacement PM.

If you haven't opened it up before, as others will mention, there are a few
specific precautions needed.  Let us know if you need that further info.
