Yes. The Orinoco Silver card works fine with the 5300 series. I've got one in my 5300ce and one in my 5300cs. To use this card (WaveLAN Gold/Silver) on the 5300, you must use the drivers included on the CD that came with the card or download the drivers from Orinoco. *Note: This card DOES work with the AirPort software on 32bit PC Card capable PowerBooks (2400/3400 and later) and runs fine without ever installing the WaveLAN software. I run one on my WallStreet using only the AirPort software - the computer recognizes the card as an AirPort PC Card on the desktop.
