Yes.
The Orinoco Silver card works fine with the 5300 series. I've got
one in my 5300ce and one in my 5300cs. They work great (or as well as
one would expect on this vintage machine).

Yes & No.
Apple's Airport software does work with the card 100%. The AirPort
software is BETTER than the official driver software from the
manufacturer.
But:

>>> Apple's AirPort software does not work with the 5300. <<<

So although the AirPort software/WaveLAN hardware combination works,
it will NOT work on the 190, 5300, or 1400 series.

To use this card (WaveLAN Gold/Silver) on the 5300, you must use the
drivers included on the CD that came with the card or download the
drivers from Orinoco.

*Note: This card DOES work with the AirPort software on 32bit PC Card
capable PowerBooks (2400/3400 and later) and runs fine without ever
installing the WaveLAN software. I run one on my WallStreet using
only the AirPort software - the computer recognizes the card as an
AirPort PC Card on the desktop.

Peace,
Drew
