Basically just a standard 2.5" IDE hard disk. Most people like the IBM
Travelstar. However I think that the 5300 cant address drives beyond 8GB -
so anything larger will be seen only as 8GB.

So far Apple's drive setup has worked fine with every HD ive used.
Alternatives include Silverlining or FWB. You will need a Torx T-8
screwdriver to open the powerbook, but otherwise it shouldn�t be too hard.
