Hello, everybody. A week or so back, I wrote asking if anyone knew the feasibility of using 802.11b wireless with a 520 powerbook. Well, I've uncovered something interesting. Check this link:
http://www.linksys.com/Products/product.asp?grid=22&prid=432 It's called "Wireless Ethernet Bridge", and it apparently plugs into your ethernet port. Also, because it requires no drivers, it runs on any platform. I'm still unclear as to whether this device will allow me to use the Pringles Can antenna I mentioned or will allow me to use wireless internet. I swear, I used to be a Mac and internet whiz, but a few years out of the field and I'm a complete novice again. Strangely there is no pricing information (at least that I could find). I have an e-mail request in for that. Anyway, I thought I'd forward this information along in case it might be of interest. Sincerely, Arlis __________________________________________________________________ The NEW Netscape 7.0 browser is now available.
