(not a very far distance to traverse though....)

My PB 180 lately has been doing the following:

Whenever I start it up after a day or so off (after being plugged in OR with
a good charged battery only) it starts up by giving me the Chimes Of Death!

Then when I restart it, it will startup 1/2-way then give me System Error,
either a "Bus" error or a "no floating point co-processor error."

Then after several attempts with starting it up with either Extentions off,
or rebuilding the Desktop, or w/ a PRAM zap (sometimes doing these things
several times) it will act okay...

...until the NEXT TIME I leave it off for more than a day!

1. Just got a new PRAM battery put in it!

2. The rechargable battery holds a confirmed charge! It can run the computer
on its own for 30 minutes or so...

3. Some other problems were going on a week ago (system problems/crashing and
such) WITH THESE SAME startup problems, so I erased the HD and started
over... but this startup stuff is still going on!

What gives?
