You'd need a wireless network card, presumably one of the Lucent/Orinoco WaveLAN PCMCIA cards. Now the hard parts: first of all, to use the WaveLAN card in a 520, you'd need the PCMCIA adapter which would go into the left battery bay. Unfortunately, these are very hard to come by and very expensive (to the point where you could probably find a cheap 190 or 5300 for less). There is also the issue of drivers; since the 520 is a 68k system, you need to find a set of drivers old enough to support the 68k, but new enough to support recent firmware revisions.
