Steve, The Orinoco card should work with the 1400 as long as you're using 8.6 or higher software. The 6500 would require an internal wireless PCI card, I forget the name of the company that has them. Or you can use an ehternet/wireless bridge from Linksys if you already have Ethernet on the 6500. Above and beyond that you'll probably want a wireless Access Point with a router built in to share an internet connection.
