Yes, I've often wondered if the newer Macs (G4 and all that) are compatible with the IR features of things like Palm units (with the Palm software installed, of course). Palm doesn't support IR transfer for my 1400cs, or so they said (I have Palm III series units anyway -- just call me the retro lounge!). I wish I knew a way around this. It would be so much more convenient than all the extra cables and cradle. *sigh*
