Yes, I am angry that someone would try to destroy my livelihood simply
because he disagrees with something we publish and our right to publish
non-Mac content on our site. We have always published non-Mac content on
Low End Mac; we will always do so. There's more to life than Macs, and
Mac users participate in the whole spectrum of life.

>Are you angry that the advertisers found out about what is being published

I am not angry that advertisers know what we are publishing. I wish that
more did. One even wrote to congratulate me for my position, state his
strong support, and do what he can to support us with his ad dollars.

That is the biggest load of crap so far in your posting. Moore was trying
to grapple with the issues of the day. When was he supposed to do that --
five years after we convicted the beltway snipers? 20 years after the
events of 9/11?

It is absolutely responsible -- if not essential -- to try to grapple
with the issue of the day today and make sense of them. To do anything
less is irresponsible.

The violence of fanatical Muslims against Americans cost 3,000 lives in
New York and several more due to the Muslim beltway sniper. In one Muslim
region people cheered when the World Trade Center was destroyed and
untold lives lost.

Yet you somehow think an article read by a thousand people is responsible
for an increase in violence against Muslims? Puh-lease.

That is such a load of crap it barely justifies a response, but others
who read your rantings deserve one. The Moore articles are part of a
whole body of discussion including dozens upon dozens of responses from a
variety of viewpoints. The feedback columns probably provided a broader
range of viewpoints that you wound find in any print magazine, in any
newspaper, or on any news site.

Those who agreed with Moore and those who disagreed spoke in their own
words, shared many opinions neither Moore nor I agree with, and reached
an audience of people trying to understand the many sides of issues such
as terrorist attacks, snipers, moral relativism, the Muslim tradition,
etc.

Those willing to read and think received an education. Those who cried
"politically incorrect" just kept their blinders on and missed the wisdom
of many writers from a broad range of perspectives.

Supporting Low End Mac is supporting a real diversity and a real
tolerance that refuses to gloss over real differences.

I feel sorry for people and businesses that feel threatened by real
dialogue.

I am asking visitors to my site and members of these lists to support
that, not a specific article or writer. That is something I refuse to do.
