To unplug the 3400 to shut it down ? It may damage it. Why don't you try the
ctrl-command-power on keys to reboot or don�t you use the little reset
button on the back (between the serial port and the RJ-45 connector) to shut
it down ?

Yes. 3400 need 7.6.2 I think.

Yes you can. But some specific 3400 extensions, such as the 3400/G3 modem
extension, will maybe be missing.
