I was thinking of buying my wife a postage meter that automatically calculates postage via a download through a "serial port."
All of our family computers are Macs and of course have serial ports. However, I suspect that this manufacturer--like too many--has never heard of Macs and the "serial port" he's refering to is on a PC. On my PB 1400, I have Virtual PC installed, so it'll run Windows 95. I'm wondering if a download would work using the serial port on the Mac. Anyone have any info about this?
