Well it doesn't convert 220 to 110, it converts anything from 100 VAC to 240VAC to the 24V the laptop needs. In other words it will take any normal wall outlet power. >Also, I have the option to bring my VST internal bay AC instead, so am >wondering if it is also capable of converting voltage? Look at to see what it's voltage input range is. It's likely 100-240 or thereabouts. But check it to be sure, you don't want to find out the hard way. Also don't worry about 50Hz vs 60Hz,. You will need either a power cable that plugs into the wall outlet and power adapter or a plug adapter that will plug into the wall outlet and take the standard US power cord. The power cord connection on the power adapter is a standard type. If you know what kind of plug you'll encounter over there then try to buy the cable or adapter here first, otherwise you'll need to buy it there. -- Clark Martin Redwood City, CA, USA Macintosh / Internet Consulting [EMAIL PROTECTED] "I'm a designated driver on the Information Super Highway" -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
