Hi Jim -- IE is just trying to be helpful (I know, arouses one's suspicions,
but there it is). When you start typing an URL it checks its recollections
of various sites you've visited in the past (and what it thinks you *might*
want to visit???) and fills in the blanks. The idea is that instead of
wearing your fingers to the bone typing you can click on the correct
destination, or use the arrow key & enter, and get there a nanosecond
earlier. There are folks at Micro$oft collecting their umpteenth billion$$
for dreaming stuff like that up, but AFAIK you the user have no direct
access to the list.

Best,
Victoria
