This is very interesting - When i recently got my used 3400c, It had 7.5.1 on it, and I installed 8.5 from a regular CD that I got long ago to use in my 9500. Is there any real advantage to a Powerbook version of an OS? I can get the Ethernet and modem and all working just fine the way it is, though I plan to upohgrade it to 8.6...
