They did that. Did you read their post? They wiped the HD, zeroed it out even. Then installed OS 9, 9.1, and 9.2 - clean install (unless you have a 9.2.x CD, there is NO clean install option for 9.2.x - 9.2.x is update only). Also, you might try NOT including the entire previous message in your replies. Seeing the footer in each of your messages (especially when you reply with only 3 lines of text) is getting annoying. I'm surprised you haven't gotten a warning message from Dan yet. But I'll be it's on the way... As for the G3 Pismo, this is definitely WAY OT. 3 generations removed. Take this discussion to G-Books. You'll get better answers there - besides, 9.2 isn't spec'd to run on any of our PowerBooks on this list anyway, so you can't reasonably expect us to have good answers to your questions.
