Hi Group

I have had Macs for years since my first Mac Plus back in the '80's. I got
my first powerbook (that would run) on Ebay a few weeks ago. I have a
question. What do I do if the system freezes? On the others if the system
froze I turned off the main switch or the switch on the surge protector.
What do I do with a powerbook? Can I safely unplug the external power
supply from the back of the computer? Can I safely pop out the battery so
it no longer has power? Or do I have to let it sit there frozen for an hour
or three until the batter goes dead and it shuts itself off?

Bernadette
