That could have been me.  I was a Toshiba tech for
awhile for Toshiba laptops and there are a few models
which had problems with power connectors getting loose
on the board.  The "official" solution was to rewire
the power connector directly, then use a hot glue gun
to reinforce the connector on each side.  This always
worked well and the hot glue had enough give that it
shouldn't stress your logic board enough to make it
crack over repeated use.
