I've got a curious 5300 question. In this second 5300cs I picked up, I
noticed that the Power Manager had no screw holding it down. Ironically, my
first unit also had no screw but I was able to find one small enough to fit.

Clearly, without this screw and despite the drive cage, the power manager
easily wiggles loose from its plug and is probably responsible for a big
cause of problems that people report on this list.

What I'm wondering is, were the screws intentionally left off the PM's
because there may be some other unidentified problem it creates I am aware
of? I doubt this and that they were just lost over time. Still I figured
I'd check in case anybody knows if there was a good reason, but to also
point it out in case others are unaware and missing this screw too.

Dave
