He's suggesting buying a car battery and car power adapter of the sort you plug into a cigarette lighter, stick them under your desk, and power the Powerbook from that. Might work, but once the car battery was dead you'd have an interesting problem (another $40 for a charger?) On the other hand, the thought of jump-starting a Powerbook is somewhat interesting.
