I don't know if it was included with OS 7.5.5, but it may be worth starting
up Apple System Profiler on it... If it wasn't installed in 7.5.5, chuck it
on a floppy and bring it with you. In the 'System Profile' tab, under
'Hardware Overview' it'll tell you the processor type, and the Motherboard
Model. (Along with all kinds of other stuff...)

As for the Price Tag, I'd talk them down a LOT before thinking about it if I
were you... 8MB Ram, 40 Meg HD, sounds like it is going to have trouble
keeping up with even simple tasks without some kind of upgrade... $NZ250 is
more than that machine is worth, even if it IS a 5300... My 1400c/133 was
under $AU200 with 1.3 GB and 64 MB Ram.
