I'm still waiting for FedEx to deliver that PowerBook. Anyway i've been beginning to wonder...
I find that my PowerBook Duo 280 performs quite well, and is actually one of my fastest 68k macs (although no competition for my Quadra 800 *extreme*). My PowerBook 520 however has very lackluster performance. Will the 190cs, with 20mb of RAM and 500mb hard drive be a good performer like the Duo or a rather slow poke like the 520. Also, has anyone ever seen the dual-scan passive matrix displays on PowerBook 190cs or 5300ce? I hear its supposed to be a bit improved over the older passive matrix models. Hopefull it is better than the passive display on the PowerBook 520, which is so bad at some angles I can't even make out what it is that i'm looking at. I know it will be at least a little bit blotchy, but I'm just hoping its not as bad as the screen on the 520. ********** Lots of hellos from Dan Palka's Quadra 800: The power to be your best. ********** -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
