Hi Adam --
My 5300 did something similar a month or so ago:  it wanted to type a string
of Ns no matter what key was pressed, except the N key itself, when it did
nothing whatsoever.  Further bizarre behavior ensued almost immediately,
then all fixed by replacing the keyboard.
