Heh heh, yeah. OS X and Disk Copy.app. You are probably trying to open a UFS(?) disk created in X, and AFAIK there's no way to mount that type of image disk on an older system. There are some .dmg images out there using HFS+ which will mount, but it doesn't sound like the that's your case. And neither DC 6.4 or 6.5 will help with this issue, sorry.
