Hmm...probably, though it might be too thick, that sounds like an 
17-18mm drive.

Electronically, it will work fine...Apples Drive Setup will format 
virtually any 2.5" ATA drive out there.

The 2.5 inch form factor is a set size, in terms of width and length, 
though mounting holes will vary. They do vary a bit in 
thickness...modern powerbooks are limited to 12mm or less, iirc.
