I tried to get through my CS classes on my mac, and it was ok, I could develop and such, but the hard part came with tring to compile and test the .exe files. My classes required me to submit .exe's along with the source, I basicly broke down and bought a pc after watching VPC startup for the billionth time(dirt slow on my older imac). you may want to look into this.
