Help! Please! This 3400 machine is new to me. The CD drive and the floppy
do not work. The SCSI
port and printer port both work well. The CD and floppy do not show on the
desktop with disks installed.
However, the CD shows on the Apple Profiler as ID = 0 (the same as the hard
drive) and shows a disk
installed with the % used correct. I use 9.1 on this. I lean toward the
finding that the SCSI ID is incorrect
and a jumper needs to be changed on the CD. Am I correct and how do I do this
if I am? By the way, a
VST Zip works perfectly in that slot.
