Hi ...
A while back I got an Orinoco Silver 802.11b PC Card working with my 3400
running OS 9.1. I'm using the Airport software with this. Someone suggested
that there's a way to upgrade this card to 128 bit encryption, but I haven't
found instructions for doing this. I seem to remember that if you install
the new Orinoco (or whatever branded name version of these same cards) that
it will automatically enable the upgrade ... is this the only way to do
this? If so, does anyone know where I can find the appropriate software? ...
or any other hints/clues/instructions/guidance?
Has anyone here done this? Any danger to the card in doing it?
Thanks,
Jean
