I use a nonapple ramdisk program called appdisk, i can send it if you write me off list or you can find it in the net, before that I used rambunctious, but appdisk is better, because you can put an alias of it in the startobjectfolder and it starts up when you start the mac, you can also just drag the diskimage it creates to trash when you want to reclaim the ramspace, otherwise you might forget to start it with the browser or you can tell it to start when you start the browser or more exactly tell it to launch the browser when it launches itself by settin its preferences, in IE and netscape you can choose where you want the cache to be placed and then you choose the mounted ramdisk as a cachefolder in the browsers preference panels. the appdisk filesize is 88k stuffed and its a " nice "shareware, it has no reminder for a single user. registration by kagi. kenta -- -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
