I've got my 5300cs APPLE POWERBOOK FOR SALE for anybody who needs one. This is a 10.4" color screen. I thought I would have more ram, but it's being sold with only the 8mb installed on the motherboard. It will boot from the power adapter, but it is really insufficient to run properly. The buyer will need to pick some up. This Apple laptop runs perfectly! I have used it for about 1 year and got a second one with a 16 mb mobo, so I just switched machines. THE BEST PART, this unit went through Apples REA program last year, so it has a Brand New Motherboard, Color Screen, Power Adapter, and a few other things. Essentially, it is practically a brand new machine internally. I will provide the documentation from Apple to the buyer. I will also include one of my two batteries, but they don't hold a very long charge. You might be able to increase this however with some conditioning. I generally just use the adapter with its long cord. This book comes with two pcmcia card slots for modem or other periphs. Has Apple vid card & dongle to hook up to an external monitor, internal floppy drive, rear cover, 1 gig hard drive, ethernet and more. It has OS 8.1 installed. Can take a higher OS after that much needed ram boost. Can also take a larger (volume) hard drive. This unit will be shipped in the well constructed padded box Apple shipped it back to me in. This is a great little machine for word processing needs when you don't want to fire up the electro-hog desktop & monitor, or simply for those road trips and relaxing outdoor writing sessions. There are internal zip drives and 12 volt adapters available for these as well, so they can be hooked up to a vehicle or RV.
