Howdy, Just obtained a PB 150 that does not power-up. It has not been used in a few years (was surplus from a local school district). At first, I thought it was the power supply, but when this same unit worked on my Portable, I knew that the cause must lay elsewhere. I opened the unit and found a 2.4v battery unit attached to the upper case and PCB that appears to have a good amount of corrosion on int. The primary battery is most assuredly kaput. Is it possible that the 2.4v battery is the culprit in this things inability to start up, or are there other tricks I should try?
