Sounds like you have one of the later Personal LWs. Maybe a 300 (non-postscript QuickDraw): <http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=112495> or a 320 (postscript): <http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=112497> You might even have that sweet little LaserWriter 4/600 (600dpi): <http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=112505> None of which have a power switch, rather they go into a low power energy saving mode (sleep basically). To reset you have to just unplug it or use a LaserWriter utility and reset it from there, but it's never really fully turned off.
