Well, first I'd consider putting some periods at the ends of my sentences. That might make it easier to understand your problem. It sounds like you are running MacTCP and the so called "Classic Networking." What OS are you running? If it's 7.5 or later, I would strongly urge you to upgrade to OpenTransport. OT is much better at, well, everything than is Classic Networking. If you really don't want to move to OpenTransport, I understand that FreePPP is a pretty good PPP tool for Classic Networking. This might not solve your problem, though. Why don't you post back with the exact text of the error message.
