8.6 doesn't play nice with Sonnet upgrades. Run 48ram/sonnet upg with 8.1, or 64/sonnet with 9.1. In 9.1 you also need a new start-up disk control panel called 9.2, but not the s-u cp that comes with os 9.2. Confusing, but true...the new panel is available on the apple archives. > > Secondly.
