Hello

is there a list specifically for users of Powerbook 5xx series computers (i.e. BlackBirds)? I'm amazed on how many of those machines are still in use today.

No, and I hope there isn't one created!

<premptive whine> The proliferation of lists is insane sometimes. I've seen the same question asked in consecutive weeks on both the G-books list and the Powerbooks list with the comcomittant duplication of effort, bandwidth and time. Same with the PCI macs and the G-list </whine>

Just the Powerbooks list.

Yep those old birds are tough old birds; all in all one of the best powerbook models Apple ever made, imnsho, which accounts for their longevity..the Blackbird was quite ahead of it's time.
