The ONLY reason I keep any version of NS around is because that's what they
had at my daughter's school. She's used to IE now, so I may just free up
the space soon. Oh, and I used to also need it very rarely for the odd page
that was coded to NS, but I've not seen one of those in quite some time.
The combo of IE 5.1 and iCab get me 100% of all pages I ever go to. (Oddly,
the Apple Store doesn't render correctly in IE for me, but it works fine in
iCab...)

Ever since I discovered that there are browsers that don't need to render a
page successfully THEN BLANK IT OUT AND COMPLETELY RERENDER IT AGAIN, I've
virtually abandoned NS.

As far as I'm concerned, this is some sort of cosmic payback to NS for their
early Microsoft-like attitude of "Let's keep introducing non-standard
Netscape-isms that people will use and then their pages will only render
correctly in Netscape."

To be fair, I've not tried any NS version post-4.7x, mostly because with
their track record of bad browsers I've been reluctant to give them another
chance. IE & iCab work just fine for now and when I finally go to OS X,
there's Safari. I just can't see any good reason to waste time w/ NS ever
again.
