Hello All, While I agree with Kenta that OS 9.1 w/QT 6 is a bit much too ask of a PB 1400 with 48Mg RAM, one thing that I would NOT do is play MIDI files (or any external clock-dependent function) with virtual memory (that would include RAM Doubler) on - if OS 9.1 is a definite "must have", then back QT to ver. 4.1.x and turn virtual memory off - see if that helps, Don.
Also, I agree with the SoundApp assessment - very nice utility; I don't use it regularly (as I have Dig. Performer, Finale, etc.) but it is very hany for a quick play - use ver. 2.7 and be sure to get the "Drop Decoder" to go with it - hany plug-in.
